Marie Devane Knitwear studios are in Taylor's Hill, Galway. She produces hand framed knitted garments using a variety of yarns - cotton, viscose, silk, and chenille. Marie's emphasis is on originality and current trends.

Joan Millar
Joan has designed her ladies collections using natural fibres and interesting blends. Her designs are based on re-vamping the Irish classics which reflect the natural beauty of Ireland. Joan Millar has been in the knitwear business in Ireland since 1982. She runs her own knitwear company producing each year two specialist collections of ladies knitwear. Her collection includes dresses, jackets, skirts, cardigans, tops, bodywraps, stoles, scarfs and hats. Yarns include 100% wool, cashmere blends, 100% cotton, linen and cotton blends, felted lambs wool and lots of interesting blends. She has a specialised handcrocheted and handmade collection.

Deirdre Minogue
Deirdre Minogue Knitwear is based in Tinahely, Co. Wicklow, where she makes a high quality product that's reasonably priced. Deirdre produces elegant comfortable complete outfits in addition to separates such as sweaters and cardigans. These are hand framed, and available in silk, wool and cotton, as well as mixed fabrics; all featherweight yarns.

Fisherman out of Ireland
Fisherman out of Ireland is tradition, innovation, comfort and quality in knitwear for men and women. The range has something for everyone; chunky wool/ cashmere sweaters in ribs and stitches inspired by traditional Aran patterns, luxury wool/ alpaca in lacy stitches, merino wools, supersoft Shetlands and felted lambswools. In all, it's the total modern Irish look !

Eleanor Tracey
Eleanor works in Co. Cork. She designs and produces traditional striped wool pullovers and cardigans. All are hand loomed.

Ireland's Eye Knitwear
Ireland's Eye are a Dublin based knitwear firm. Their new innovative designs use wool, wool cotton silk, and linen /cotton mixes. The design emphasis is on new, brighter colour palette.

Ballyhoura Angora Knitwear
Ballyhoura are based in north county Cork. They specialise in soft and warm angora wool tunics and cardigans. All garments are finished in a fine hand knitted moss stitch.

Shanagarry Knitwear
Shanagarry is based on the south coast, not far from our own pottery shop. They specialise in cotton and linen mixes using contemporary designs. All their knitwear is hand loomed.
