The Ardmore Pottery and Craft Studio initially opened its doors in the Summer of 1983. Mary Lincoln is the proprietor and inspiration for this gallery and workshop. She learned to throw pottery in the late 1970's and early 1980's. She then set up her own studio in May 1983. Initially it was very small and served the needs of tourists visiting the area. In 1987 she expanded the pottery into its current location.

Gradually the business grew, and she expanded the range of products available, from supplying her own pots, to stocking the work of other Irish artists and crafts workers. Her continuing aim is to supply the very best of Irish quality crafts to her customers. In fact the work on exhibit is a very personal selection of all that she values as being best in Irish craftwork.
